+ - for us the situation was perfect - the atmosphere was lovely, the old building was so beautiful and the staff was friendly - the bathroom was very good - your booking system works very good - We had most wonderful stay in Amsterdam. It is perfect city! We just love it! It is so beautiful and you people are great. It is so easy be in Amsterdam. Everything works. We hope that we can visit Amsterdam again, already next year. And we are sure will use your booking and consider the same hotel!
- - Price level in Amsterdam is quite high. We consider that room prices are little too high. - our room was not perhaps "the best room" of the hotel, we saw better rooms, but it was ok

+ We liked the original, philosophy theme. The breakfasts were very good, with lots of choice. We loved the garden.

+ Great location as central but quiet and near to all major museums, parks and the Leidesplein. Lovely theme to hotel made it a bit out of the ordinaty. Rooms were small but well presented and very clean!
- Although staff were very pleasant, they didn't seem to go out of their way for you.

+ Very nice hotel. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast.
- When we left for the day the key card for the room had to be recharged. We knew this because we had to come back down from the room when the card didn't work. As we have to leave the card at reception when we left the hotel they should have been able to check it before giving it to us.

+ The theme is terrific. We enjoyed looking at all the philosophy-oriented decor.
- The room and bathroom were very small. The location, though close to transportation, was a bit out of the way from the rest of the city. We were a little apprehensive walking home at night.

+ Beautiful architecture, helpful staff, relaxing ambience. Breakfast buffet was excellent.
- Hard to find. Our taxi driver couldn't find it. Bathroom was quite small.

+ the hotel was great value for money. far enough away from the noise of the centre but near enough to walk to dam square which gave us opportunity to see more of amsterdam. Hotel was clean and a bit different from mainstream hotels. Right by vondel park we enjoyed a lovely peaceful walk after breakfast. would reccommend this hotel to romantics and those who appreciate quality,
