+ check in and out very efficient, front office staff very kind and pleasant.Location is superb. Spa/Gym even if not used, seem excellent. Beds quite comfy !
- room was a bit dusty, most restaurants were closed (weekend)as was the business center ! Restaurants heavily understaffed therefore also messy- a.c. was not cooling properly in the room.

+ Location inside Schiphol terminal is excellent. Professional fitness center and spa, not just a few machines dumped in an empty room. Staff was very helpful and efficient.

+ The main advantage of this hotel is that you dont have to leave the aiport hall. Extremely friendly and helpfull staff for both check-in and check-out / payment.
- I believe that a minus point is the late check-in @ 15:00 hrs in particular when arriving with a morning flight. However the lady was extremely helpfull and managed to provide us with an early check-in for the two rooms we booked.

+ 1. Location, location location (i.e. proximity to the airport) -- this was the reason for my stay. 2. The staff (obviously multi-lingual) was most courteous and accommodating. 3. Check-out was fast and painless.
- 1. Price - While my room was nicely appointed, one of the closet door mirror was broken (with an apologetic note from the staff attached), a drinking glass in the bathroom (the one I just happended to pick up) was chipped and a stray hair was sitting on the rim of the bathtub. I had no problem with any of these but it made me wonder about the hotel's five-star rating and the price that goes along with it. - A less-than-a-minute phone call from my room to the U.S. ended up costing me Euro 8. Upon inquiry at the desk, I was told that the charge was based on "access." I am not sure what this means but consider the phone call price exorbitant. - Ditto for the minibar and breakfast prices. 2. Stale smoke smell While I requested and received a smoking room, the room smelled of stale smoke. -- The latter is one of my key problems with American and/or American-run hotels: Their windows don't open to allow for air circulation. As a long-time smoker I know that the only way to really get rid of the smell of cigarette smoke is to provide fresh air. I understand that a hotel close to the airport is more concerned about noise protection than open-air venitilation; still, an operable window would give guests and staff an opportunity to bring in some fresh air.

+ My second visit to this hotel and again, i was not disappointed. The location of this hotel was key to my travel plans. The staff were very helpful and courteous. The room was spacious, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a seperate bath and shower and was spotless. I will definately use this hotel again in the future.
- It is hard to list any minus points, BUT, if i had to list just one, it would be to shave a few euros off the bar prices!!!!

The club rooms are non-smoking rooms and they offer free access to the club lounge. The breakfast is included. In the morning the breakfast will be served in the lounge, in the evening hors d'oeuvres will be served. You also have access to the health club and the rooms have upgraded amenities.
