+ free breakfast was a nice touch and it wasnt just bread and butter. Nice staff, and nice little hotel, makes you feel at home.

+ The room was spotless, the breakfast buffet excellent, and staff were very friendly and helpful.
- The room was very basic and not what I expected after seeing the photos on the website. There was no double bed, just 2 singles pushed together.

+ 5 - 10 minute walk to Central Station and many tram lines.
Clean. Pleasant staff. Good sized elevator for large luggage. Our room faced the canal, lovely view. Brdeakfast included in price.
- Room became small after adding extra bed for child, but we only slept in room so this was not a concern. Removing table would have added walking space.
Very close to Red Light District, in fact 3 or 4 "ladies" less than one block on Singel. This could be uncomfortable if traveling with children. We told out 10 year old that they were live lingere models. Learned quickly to circimvent the area.

+ Great location, comfortable bed...
- PISSED OFF!!! I was not briefed by the desk manager on the Pay-TV which cost be Euro15 by the end of my stay. I believe that i have been 'short changed'. I would definitely pay for it if this has been clearly briefed to me.

- Great location and good service, but the room was the equivalent of a jail house cell. As a matter of fact, after a night of partying in Miami Florida, I had the pleasure of staying in a Miami jail over night. The city of Miami jail cell was better than this motel.
Don’t waste your money on this dump that was advertised as a 3 star hotel it is a 1 star at best.

+ Very good breakfast. Room 26 had a nice view of the canal and a bathtub.
- Very few non-smoking rooms - didn't manage to get one so suffered from cigarrette smoke coming from the corridor. Room 32 was tiny and dark with no view - very small window.

+ Staff are very friendly and helpful. It was also the most comfortable hotel bed ever - pillows are FANTASTIC! Very clean and lots of lovely hot water.
