The apartment is located in the Beethovenstraat, one of the fanciest and busiest shopping streets of Amsterdam. The Beethovenstraat is centrally located in the elegant district 'Oud Zuid'. The apartment has 7 rooms and 2 bathrooms, a balcony and a very private and spacious roofterrace and is really a nice and quiet place to come home after a day visiting the Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum, the popular Vondelpark, which is also nearby or simply a day of shopping or a night of clubbing! The house has been stylishly decorated by the owners. The dining room, in which the breakfast is served, has a fire place (that will burn on chilly days), beautiful paintings and is really a joy to have your breakfast in and has double doors to the balcony with a splendid view to the cloistered gardens, that are typical for the area. Imagine a shoppingstreet up front and singing birds in the large gardens on the back. The large dining table in the dining room is a design of Anne de Meulemeester (another version is in the Antwerp national Museum). On really warm sunny days breakfast can be served on the roofterrace, that is over 50m2 and here you can also spent some lazy time, with complete privacy. The roofterrace has some nice plants and lazy furniture.
