Individual hotel reviews

Review score: 7.2

+ Excellent location

- Shower should at least have a curtain in order not to wet the whole bathroom.

+ Ninguna

+ Location was superb
Room clean
Not too much noise disturbance once in own room (although this might have been a problem for other rooms directly off main thoroughfares)

- Irregular bathroom cleaning
Front desk staff not very friendly
Price quite expensive considering no breakfast

- thin walls caused noise - we could hear everything from neighbouring rooms.
Poor choice of TV channels.

- TV doesn't work.I had extra cost to pay by VISA.

+ Location excellent. Staff did lend us a fan to help cope with the extremely hot weather.

- Broken window, electric light fittings hanging out of wall, stained carpet, very cramped bedroom, very little wardrobe space, cramped shower room, no air conditioning.

+ Great location

- Very bad experience. Tiny room (like a shoe box). No windows, ac or fan. Very hot, especially on the 30 degrees centigrade days. The single room feels like a closet. The staff did not provide a fan even after repeated requests. Stay away.

+ Cheap room. Great location within walking distance of the Museumplein and Leidseplein. Easy to get to from Central Station.

- Tiny room. No window. Can hear everyone taking the stairs.

+ Quiet street, good location

- Hygiene, especially in the bathroom/shower was extremely poor. The room was not very clean, either.

+ The staff was very friendly.

- Our on-line reservation was lost when we arrived. Fortunately, the "garden room" was available. Unfortunately, this was basically a garden shed that had been converted into room. It was a bit like camping in the backyard.

- I reserved a double room 2 months in advanced and ended up in a room which could not even be considered as big enough for a single room !
Reception was more busy with his girlfriend and let us wait for 20 minutes!
If I had more time i would have moved over to another hotel, but because i was very busy i had no time to arrange it.
Very dissapointing experience.

+ Beds sheets nice & clean, excellant location, for all major sites. Would not stay here again but was not a horror story.Fibreglass Bathroom Tardess was a nice touch but was like having a shower on my yaught!!!

- Very steep staircsae to upper floors, seedy hotel
not for familys or people with kids, keep your shoes on or you will stick to the carpets / threads on the floors.

+ Good breakfast. Friendly service. Beautiful house

- Very steep stairs with no lift. Need to pay at check in rather than check out. Massive surcharge for credit card payments. Very tiny room.

+ none

- Sorry but I have no good news for about this Hotel.
 It has minute rooms built with paper walls. With loud noises outside, there is no chance for a good nights sleep.
 Obviously a shabby multiplication of rooms in an old house.
 There is no window in the tiny room, no air circulation. They try to fool you with a dilapidated fan for which there is not even standing room.
 We slept is room 22. Tried to. The sewerage pipe of the whole building runs through this room. Every 2 minutes right through the night there is a loud flush sound with a loud noise of sewerage running through the room.
