+ Excellent location, just what we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. If we go back to Amsterdam next year, we will probably book this hotel again.

- Could do with decorating. The nets on the windows could do with changing.

+ Excellent location!

Staff helpful & knowledgable when asked anything.

- Tiny room - no storage area for clothes - unable to unpack case during visit.

Double bed was 2 single mattresses on double bed frame - kept waking up having slipped down the gap in the middle!

+ the exersice to get to the 5 floor with bags and no lift...

- bed only just fit in the room,
I was told I would have a twin but only double avaiable. We then had to walk 2 miles with our bags to a different hotel to find that the room was small that the double. Also to find the room had no windows. The worse hotel room i have stay in any where in the world.

- A few days before our arrival we we're told that we would have to be moved to another hotel further away from where we had intended to stay.
The new accomodation was not as nice as we had been expecting due to previous visits where we had stayed at the Quentin Hotel.

+ Very well situated, friendly staff, good breakfast, clean sheets.

- The bathroom broke down and it stayed like that all night. There is no elevator. Problems with the tv and remote control.

+ Great location and excellent service.

- Noisy door that kept slamming...mostly in the early morning hours. That was a real drag.

+ adequate privacy; close to all the areas we wanted to visit; friendly

- room smelled of smoke; plumbing had a flaw which caused odours; service too relaxed

- We were moved to another Quentin Hotel because of lack of rooms. The first rooms we got in the other hotel were one in the cellar and one without windows. First after complaints we got OK rooms but not the standard we ordered and payed for. All in all the Hotel experience were the negative part of our trip.

+ location and nice rooms and housekeeping staff

- desk staff alternated being helpful or surly / self-absorbed

+ The staff we dealt with was extremely courteous.

- The room we had was smaller than we had expected. There were no towels because they had run out but we did eventually get them. The cleaning cart was left right in front of our door as if that is where the shift had ended and that is where it would beging the next day.
