- Towels were ridiculously small. I didnt mind to much but my friend was not impressed. NO lift as well, good job we didnt have suitcases with us!

+ Friendly, helpful staff. Easy to find and walking distance from the train station. Very basic accomadation but reasonably comfortable. A great shower.
- Authentic Dutch stairs for a high, narrow building. Fine for the young and fit. It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room.

- the sink was disgusting the room had not been cleaned. The bed was a 3/4 double bed with a double bed mattress on it which cause a few bruises. The hotel was pretty bad wouldn't stay there again.

+ (sp) situacionm del hotel es muy buena, a tocar de la estacion de tren, del barrio rojo, del los bares, de la plaza a,dam, de coffeshop miticos como greenhouse etc... ideal para escapada a amsterdam, abierto 24h,
- si te toca la 5 planta.... muchas escaleras i derechas... pero tampoco ay para tanto... en españa este "hotel" se llamaria "pension" porque no te hacen la cama, o no entran en la habitacion, las toallas tienes ke estar al loro por cojerlas a las 10 de la maññana... la relacion precio-calida es un poko karo, pero la situacion es un 10 ke es lo que se paga...

+ Location! Wheels on the beds, book twin room - get a double in less than a minute!
- Glassdoors looking like doors. Churchbells ringing every fifteen minutes, it kind of growes on you. The toilet locaded near our room was out of order. The tv was broken and we got one to many beds. No ashtreys in the room.

The Travel Hotel is ideally located between the Dam Square and the Central (Railway) Station, right in the middle of the City Centre of Amsterdam. Within 5 minutes walking distance of the Central Station as well as the Dam Square, this hotel is the ideal place to stay for any occasion. Shopping streets are around the corner, the Royal Palace, the Red Light District, the Anne Frank House, the Flower Market and many other main tourist sights are within easy reach. Public transport will take you anywhere around the city (such as the Leidseplein, the Rembrandtplein, the Heineken Brewery, the Van Gogh Museum), for which the stops are just across the street from the hotel. The hotel has a 24 hours private bar and no curfew. The rooms are with private or shared facilities; Because of the structure of the monumental building in which the hotel is housed, not one room is the same. However, all the rooms are equipped with television and hairdryer. There is a cost free luggage room in the hotel. The hotel does not have specific non-smoking rooms. Pets are not allowed. There is a 5% surcharge for final credit card payments.
