+ superb location rooms superb friendly hotel

+ This hotel is 50 yards from the Grasshopper and ideally located for the cafes bars and red light district but a safe distance from the scummy parts. Excellent 24 hour bar, ganja smoking allowed and has cable Tv for Premier league football etc. Not a hotel for romance but good for a group of lads to crash out in for a couple of nights.
- Thin Walls, and not amazing doors on rooms so was concerned about security although nothing untoward occurred. Shared Toilet. Some bloke banging on the door just after 10 am to boot you out, no late check out which was a bit annoying as i wanted a lie in as was pretty messed up!!

+ Location, neighbor to kingston "coffee" shop, which I recommend. 24hours bar, clean bathroom, hot water
- Five floors with VERY narrow stairs, especially that everyone is stoned. There are some churches nearby whose bells won't let you sleep. Everything smells to cigarretes, and the sheets were not that clean. The bed was broken.

+ The location is very good. Shower and toilet was nice even it was on the corridoor.
- Holes in the towels, dirty towels, dirty sheets. Double bed was not double bed. The service was quite rude, no customer service manners.

The Travel Hotel is ideally located between the Dam Square and the Central (Railway) Station, right in the middle of the City Centre of Amsterdam. Within 5 minutes walking distance of the Central Station as well as the Dam Square, this hotel is the ideal place to stay for any occasion. Shopping streets are around the corner, the Royal Palace, the Red Light District, the Anne Frank House, the Flower Market and many other main tourist sights are within easy reach. Public transport will take you anywhere around the city (such as the Leidseplein, the Rembrandtplein, the Heineken Brewery, the Van Gogh Museum), for which the stops are just across the street from the hotel. The hotel has a 24 hours private bar and no curfew. The rooms are with private or shared facilities; Because of the structure of the monumental building in which the hotel is housed, not one room is the same. However, all the rooms are equipped with television and hairdryer. There is a cost free luggage room in the hotel. The hotel does not have specific non-smoking rooms. Pets are not allowed.
