+ The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is convenient by bus or car. The rooms are reasonably clean and reasonably equipped. The price was reasonable too. We never heard any of the other guests when we were in our room. We would be happy to stay there again.

+ The hotel was nice and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Some of the staff were helpful.
- i sent the hotel an email before arrival explaining that we would not be getting into Amsterdam until after 22:30 hours, and will not be at the hotel until after 23:00. however on arrival at the hotel, we learnt our room had been cancelled because we missed our checking time of 18:00hrs! This matter was recified and we were given a room. However we further booked & paid for a shuttle bus from the hotel to the airport for 7/9/06, 48 hours in advance. Our booking was placed in the hotel diary, however the bus had not been booked. we were not offered a refund for the tickets, but the hotel arranged for a taxi to take us to the airport. On return to the uk, i emailed the hotel on 8/9/06 offering feedback, however this was ignored. I emailed them again today and i got a reply requesting that i forward my original email to them. i have done this and currently await a response. overal its a pity but i'm disappointed by the organisation of this hotel and their lack of customer care

+ - nice ambience (nice building inside: open wide house, inviting and bright lobby, nice drawings)
- friendly staff
- good restaurant next to the lobby (aswell with vegetarian food, as we are vegetarian)
- - one night, when we came back, the door wasn't totally closed (it must has been a mistake by the roommaid, because you had to pull the door strongly, but we didn't miss anything, so no problem!
- one floor was in renovation (so it didn't look so nice, but fortunately there was no noise)
- down town is not within walking distance

+ It had secure parking.
- We booked the hotel on the understanding that it had a swimming pool this was not really the case. The pool was a public one and we feel that this is not explained at all well. We would have chosen another hotel nearer the city centre.

+ Nice veranda!
- Unattentive front office staff. Bartender kept throwing stuff into the sink, which made dishwash water spalsh at the guests. We asked him to stop, but he did not care.

+ Lekker bed en personeel lief voor de kleine.
- Nederland speelde die avond in het WK. Als men ons geinformeerd had dat in het cafe ook gegeten kon worden hadden we dat gedaan en hoefde het personeel niet heen en weer te schieten.

+ Great room; comfortable; very pleasant staff in the bar and reception area.
- While service at the reception area was very professional and helpful there were not enough staff thus we had to wait a bit before we could check in.
The location wasn't the greatest for restaurants or other entertainment
Very expensive cab ride from the train station - shuttle service from the airport or train station would be a great plus!

+ Lovely hotel with interesting art work, conformtable, clean rooms
- It was fairly difficult to find. More information about the location could be sent to customers before their arrival. Dinner 1 evening took rather a long time & it seemed to be that a coach party were given priorty.

+ Great hotel and staff, we enjoyed the stay very much. Great location, a little distanse from the center but still only a couple of minutes from the central-station by bu or taxi.
- The last day we spent at the hotel we bouth one inthernetcard, we could'nt read the the code to activate the computer for the inthernet. We told the reseptionist we bouth it from but it was'nt her problem and we had to leave the hotel whitout doing the thing on the net that we needed to do.
I pre-paid for the room fromm 16-17 april, and my visa-card was charged for breakfast without asking me if we wanted breakfast.
Found some hair in one of the beds.
