+ a good place from which to explore Amsterdam as you get to see the Leidesplein area, not far from Anne Frank's house, easy distance to Van Gogh museum, close to boat cruise, and it is not far to walk to the centre and very easy to get a tram

+ Great location and we loved the breakfast room and quality/quantity/choices of food available. All in all, a terrific experience.
- Pricey due to it being Queens Day weekend.

+ The free Internet service was great. We found the hotel excellent.
- The front steps into the hotel are steep and difficult with luggage. Once inside there are elevators.

+ Rooms were very clean. Staff were very helpful
- Continental Breakfast was limited boring and expensive. Even a selction of different yogourts would help. Crockery in the breakfast room was chipped, this is a basic hygeine issue and should not occur in a hotel such as yours. I asked for a drink at the bar (that was on the drinks menu) the person on the bar could not find it. We believe we requested a non smoking room upon booking. On arrival we were given a smoking room and had to wait till the day after to change rooms.

+ Ideal location, good breakfast and availability of a garage.
- The room, and particularly the washroom, was very cramped. It was difficult to stop the shower from making the floor of the washroom wet, because the shower curtain fitted poorly. Over time this will cause damage to the hotel.

+ Location of the hotel is perfect. Everyone was noce and friendly. Youcan really feel that this is one of the better hotels in Amsterdam
- I booked the cheepest room so my expectations where not so high. Travelling to Amsterdam on a regular basis for business reasons I ihave to say this is one of the smallest rooms I have stayed in. Also the breakfast rate I my opinion is too high. ou should provide a cheeper option which would included prehaps coffee and tost only for us who does not eat very much for breakfast
