This cosy yet homely eatery is split into two dining areas. Upon entrance by the bar are tables fit for groups of friends or families to enjoy a social meal. Upstairs however by the partially open kitchen is a much more personal ambience perfect for couples to have a romantic meal. On the walls are exhibited paintings or photographs made by young artists that stand out against the old wooden interior conducive with the buildings in Jordaan.

Tante Agaath has an a la carte menu changing every two months. Complimenting this is their ‘Day Specials’ menu projected onto the main wall. From this menu you can enjoy a three-course meal for 27.50 euro. Lunch menu is only available on Saturday and Monday where they offer a diverse range of soups, sandwiches and salads.

To accompany your dining experience they have 8 house wines at 19 euro per bottle. They also have a good selection of International wines including French and Australian. Alternative to dining you may equally visit simply for a drink on their sunny terrace munching on ‘borrel’ finger-food.
