Rho Hotel Amsterdam

Originally intended as a theatre, the magnificent building that houses Hotel Rho has had a rich history. From its beginnings in 1908, the bustle of Amsterdam's city centre was never far away during its tenure as a trading house in the lucrative gold market. These days it's not just those with the midas touch who get to enjoy this Art Deco marvel, with its stained glass windows and classically elegant lobby. Since April 1989, Hotel Rho has opened its doors to the public and has made sure that visitors are able to enjoy modern Amsterdam while feeling a connection to the City's rich history.

Location
Hotel Rho is located in a quiet street, a mere stone's throw from Dam Square's South Eastern corner. From the Royal Palace to the famous Red Light District, as well as numerous museums, cafés and shops, everything Amsterdam has to offer is within easy walking distance.

Dining
Hotel Rho offers an extensive buffet between 07:00 and 10:30, where guests can plan their exploration of the City over a leisurely breakfast. Meanwhile, the Dam Square location makes the hotel a perfect place to stop by for a quick change and some refreshment in the hotel bar, open between 16:00 and 23:30, before popping back out to enjoy Amsterdam's vibrant nightlife.

With 167 rooms, including five spacious suites, Hotel Rho can comfortably accommodate large groups, while its intimate, personal atmosphere makes small groups, couples or individuals feel completely at home. Suites come with a balcony, large living room and adjoining dining area, while all rooms come with ensuite toilet facilities, minibar, safe, hairdryer and television.
