Theater Amsterdam

Amsterdam Anne TheaterTheater Amsterdam is an airy glass-walled playhouse what sprang up on the waterfront of Amsterdam's Westelijke Houthavens district as a home for 'ANNE', a critically-acclaimed play exploring the life of Anne Frank. The theatre's 45,000 square-foot auditorium means huge sets, and a multilingual translation system lets visitors follow the action in eight different languages. Restaurant Boven de Planken serves up hearty meals, light bites and organic wines before the shows.

Anne

Anne is the first play based on the original diaries of Anne Frank. You meet Anne and her family before they moved to the secret annexe and during the two years they spent in ‘het achterhuis’. You will learn about her life during the war, living with eight people in a small house; with the every day fear of being discovered. Anne will bring you an unforgettable experience with laughter and a tear.
