Amsterdam Segway Tours

Ride through Amsterdam the high-tech way - on a Segway! These innovative personal vehicles let you stand and just glide along, shifting your weight forward to go and back to equilibrium to stop. It's easy to learn, we make sure it's safe, and it also makes you a minor celebrity as we ride along and passers-by stop to gape and take pictures!

So what about our tours? They last around 3 hours all-told. Interested in Amsterdam's history? Then our daytour is for you: "In Rembrandt's Footsteps," celebrating the 400th anniversary of that great artist's birth with a tour of important buildings having to do with his life and works - which also happen to be the city's leading historical attractions.

Or are you in Amsterdam to have a little fun? Then you should do our evening tour - "Native Nightlife." We leave the Red Light District behind to the tourists and visit the areas where the native Dutch (and guests in-the-know) go to eat, dance, and generally enjoy themselves - including the gay scene. Whether restaurant, bar, or club - whether straight or gay - when the weather is good it is particularly enjoyable to ride past (and freak out) diners and clubbers either hanging around outside their establishments or gazing out at the street in amazement.

Almost anyone who can stand can learn to ride a Segway. We have had seniors as old as 78 on our tours, and (early-to-mid-stage) expectant mothers. In addition to our initial training, the skateboard helmets we wear and, above all, the two Glide.cc personnel along on each tour ensure a safe and fun time. An informative one, too, whether you want to learn something more about Amsterdam's history and Rembrandt, or just where to go to have some fun in the evenings.

Unfortunately the Segway tours have been discountinued in Amsterdam
