Hi all. My name is Cecile. I am French but have been living in Amsterdam for more than 6 years now. I have a Postgraduate Degree in Professional Translation from English/Portuguese and Spanish into French, obtained in Strasbourg. I was born in Spain in Vitoria, and also lived 3 years in the UK in Stoke-on-Trent when I was a teen. I came to Holland to work as a French Translator, and have been conciliating since then different types of Translation work and Customer Service positions. I must say that I love Amsterdam and enjoy very much my life here. Difficult nowadays to find such a human-sized cosmopolitan European capital with such quality of life. First thing I would miss like hell would be my bike which brings me everywhere I want and makes me feel like a fish in A'dam. I must also say that even more than 6 years after my arrival, I still find Amsterdam magic and keep discovering every day picturesque spots which are real gems. Just by looking up and raising one's eyes is enough. And I would be more than happy to share those impressions with my French fellow compatriots looking forward to discovering Amsterdam.
