Waterstone's – English bookshop Amsterdam

A four storeys bookshop from the large UK booksellers chain Waterstone's located at the busiest point in Amsterdam. They strive to maintain traditional English atmosphere, selling mainly the books and the magazines from the UK. You may also buy there Sunday editions of the London newspapers.

Their offer is rich, presenting English books, which are not available in other bookshops in the Netherlands. Bestseller novels and pocket books are on the ground floor. Waterstone´s have also a large section of the travel guides and books about art.

Conversion from pound to euro makes most of the books relatively pricey, but Waterstone's often make promotions and sales.

A digression: a very good flower stand is located just in front of the Waterstone's. If during your stay in Amsterdam you want to give somebody a bouquet – this is the place to buy it.
