The Flying Pig Uptown Hostel in Amsterdam
Flying Pigs are famous hostels in Amsterdam well known among backpackers. The Uptown branch is situated in a quiet street right next to Vondelpark. The nightlife square Leidseplein and the Museumplein are also close. Breakfast is served and there is a hostel bar too. The Flying Pigs accept people above 18 and under 40 years of age.
The smoking room at The Uptown Hostel is at the front of the Hostel, overlooking the park. It has many cosy couches to crash on and a relaxing atmosphere – perfect for getting to know other travellers and make new friends.
In the old days you were allowed to smoke everywhere in the Flying Pig Hostels, but because of the smoking ban introduced in 2008, you’re not allowed to smoke in places where people are working. But you can smoke in the smoking area connected to the bar. You can chill out on pillows or chairs and smoke weed, hash or cigarettes while drinking and chatting to fellow guests and staff.
