Weed smoking friendly hostels in Amsterdam
The Dutch policy on soft drugs is, let’s face it, one of the major reasons this city is famous. And yet, finding marijuana smoker friendly accommodation in Amsterdam can be tricky. EU regulations on tobacco smoke, combined with a desire by many hotel owners to keep their curtains clean and smell-free, mean that the vast majority of Amsterdam hotels or hostels are non-smoking.
There are, however, a few exceptions. These weed smoking friendly hostels know why you have come to Amsterdam and are happy to provide a friendly place to stay where you can experience all the pleasures that Amsterdam has to offer.
In the list below are hostels where most of the rooms are filled with bunk beds for 6 to 10 people and use shared bathrooms. If you prefer your own space ask if they have such rooms or consider renting a holiday apartment in Amsterdam.
