Hostel uptown location in Amsterdam
Located right beside The Rookies coffeeshop, Uptown Hotel is just a short walk from Leidseplein and its surrounding bars and nightclubs. From Centraal Station take trams 1, 2 or 5 to Leidseplein and, with the Burger King on your left, walk along Korte Leidsedwarsstraat. A handful of Italian restaurants and Argentinian grills later and the distinctive clouds-and-cherub sign of The Rookies will be on your left hand side.

Breakfast is included in the room price, and is served daily in the hotel between 08:00 and 10:00. The Rookies coffeeshop also serves refreshments and cakes, though be certain to order the right type of cake as some may have more than just chocolate chips inside.
