Design Hotels in Amsterdam
Amsterdam has been always an important city for the European design, with several important studios located here as well as design galleries popular beyond Netherlands, so it is not by accident that many truly unique design hotels were recently built in the city. The flagship of them will be the Andaz Hotel - an impressive, astonishing hotel conveniently located in the Old Town center, but there are others like Hotel Conservatorium located in the Amsterdam Museum Quarter, Albus, Fletcher, Qbic, and West Cord. Please also note, that we list separately several smaller and cozy design hotels as the Amsterdam boutique hotels.

The Conservatorium Hotel takes its name from its previous owner the famous Amsterdam Sweelinck Music Conservatory. Its interior has been designed by an Italian designer Piero Lissoni and furnished with design pieces manufactured by renowned Italian design furniture producers Cassina, Living Divani and Kartell. With its numerous amenities, elegant boutiques and a perfect location where Van Gogh and Stedelijk museums are just across the street, The Conservatorium is an excellent elegant option for your Amsterdam visit.
Vijzelstraat 49, 1017 HE Amsterdam

While during the hot summer days it is probably not the best choice as it has no air conditioning, The Albus Design Hotel remains a comfortable and clean place to stay.
