Postzegelmarkt in Amsterdam
A small collectors market along one side of the street, which goes just behind the Palace on the Dam square. As the hobby of collecting stamps dies out, this busy and full of people market is today a quiet place. Post stamps markets in other cities, also in Belgium and Germany vanished, but here people still meet two times a week. Merchants travel to this market from the small cities in the Netherlands so the choice is unique.
Furthermore, in the houses behind the market and in the small side street called Rosmarijnsteeg, you will find several dark and dusty shops specialized in stamps, coins, telephone cards and postcards.
