Amsterdam Illusions

More of an exhibition show than a museum but it will surely impress both children and adults. The exhibits are 3D paintings and installations and each of them has a story with you as the main character.

Paintings about popular culture and Dutch traditions

As you can see on the pictures the walls of this creative space are decorated with more than 30 paintings created by contemporary Dutch artists.

You can survive the sinking of Titanic or dive into the colorful rain of "Skittles". You can slide down a stream of lava from an erupting volcano or save the universe together with the Hulk.

Many of the installations are depicting Dutch traditions, culture, history and mentality. Which is a fun way of learning about things that you will encounter on your Amsterdam vacation. For example you are going to find out why the Dutch used to wear wooden shoes and sail through the canals. And you will ride a bike through the field of tulips.
