Van Gogh & Rembrandt show in Amsterdam
A light and sound show about the two most known painters. Van Gogh and Rembrandt.
In a national monument of Noorderkerk (Northern Church) the immersive show covers all the walls of the building interior with art of these two painters. And also thematically simmilar motives. And the space is also filled with commentary about them, their art, their lives, ... And other interesting reading like for example Van Gogh's letters to his brother.
These two painters did not live in the same times but their work has some simmilarities. Van Gogh drew inspiration from rembrandt and was influenced by it. Discover these connections. This has even more meaning thanks to the venue where it takes place. Because the Norderkerk was visited by both Van gogh and Rembrandt in their respective times.
The show is available in English and Dutch languages and lasts for 45 minutes. You can visit this show every day of the week except on Sunday when they are closed.
